Strengthening the bond between the core essence of a person and their expression can be a difficult feat. Societal expectations, values imposed by culture and family, and the desire to remained attached to a previous identity–these are barriers which suffocate authenticity while fueling the ego. People see what we chose to show them, further strengthening our connection with the mask of presentation. When do these masks no longer serve us? When do we decide to embrace who we truly are without feeling the need to hide?
Empowering confidence teeters between self-deprecation and entitlement. The limits in which we condition to ebb and flow. Oscillating between being “too nice” and being “too mean,” we chose to follow our intuition determining where we are safe and comfortable enough to express ourselves without threat of judgement.
Revitalize the connection between integrity and authenticity, coupling values with boundaries. Recognizing the limits in which you become more like the masses and less like yourself.
Energize your natural expression, embracing the darkness and light. The urge to eliminate a version of ourselves comes from guilt and shame centered on that stage in our life. Neglecting the bad to focus on the good, gives us a sense of direction. Acknowledging the bad and reframing our way of thinking, allots the space to learn lessons and find areas of growth.
Fire up the motivation to stay dedicated to your truth. What’s stopping you?
Transform the need to please, comfort, and shrink in order to maintain an unbothered lake. All things change and with change comes destruction and growth. Decide to take ownership of the direction and make choices to support your future expression.
Realize the obstacles and barriers present are ways to challenge your attachment to your current self. This self may be a mask or a copy of an identity you have been conditioned to present. The radiance and vibrancy of your true self awaits your acknowledgment. The world awaits the opportunity to witness your exhibition of a person who has hid for far too long.
Control the urge to revert back to previous versions of yourself when comfort, survival, and complacency determined safety.
