Holidays, Anniversaries, and Death

By Charlie Taylor

There’s one coming up… Father’s Day

This is a time where we think about our relationship with men, no matter gender, sexual identity, sexual orientation, and/or nature of relationship

Men created the world, right?

Who sets the tone then?

I can say for a fact, EVERY SINGLE PERSON, has been harmed by a man (man-child, boy, identified male)… so how do we process this hurt?

Especially, when there is a holiday focused solely on the ultimate role of a man (to be a father, breeder, seed-spreader)

Hmmmm… now we think about love..

What does that mean?

Don’t think it exist anymore..

Of course, I could be wrong (like most people are, no matter race, ethnicity, religion, ability capacity, etc.)

Doesn’t really matter at a certain point.

How do you show love for the people in your life who have continuously decided to support you, embrace your personality, and appreciate who you are developing as as a person?
